We are continuing our ode to Revamp with this lovely 50’s style party dress that I wore to my wedding party in May. Classic design and summer cotton make this one fun and flirty!

I heart this dress so much! From the color to the sweet lace accents, it just makes me want to melt. I love the neckline and the side cut outs are just perfect. It even has a matching jacket. The fabric is lightweight cotton blend perfect for summer days. All you need is a field of daisies, a soft red blanket, and a case of IPA and you are set.
This sweet, red, cotton sun dress by Brilliant, one of our talented Roulette Vintage designers, has me dreaming of county fairs. I love the simple satin straps and the yellow vintage buttons. Add a hand tooled belt by Radcow and a worn in pair of vintage boots and you will be the talk of the fair. Come in and check it out, before it’s gone! (more…)
I absolutely love this dress. You can never go wrong with lace and roses. The pattern just makes me think of spring, hill tops, and picnics. This would be a great dress for a romantic afternoon filled with champagne, strawberries, and your favorite old cowboy boots.
You can check it out on our etsy site today!

Thanks so much to everyone who came out to our Anniversary Party! It was a lot of fun. I can’t really decide which I enjoyed more: seeing all the smiling faces or watching everyone dance in the cake walk…
The fashion was definitely something! So many great outfits!
And the winners are:
Most awesome Roulette Vintage outfit goes to Kat! She wore a great 70’s mini halter dress and matching eyelet gloves.
Best outfit you made yourself goes to Erika, who actually brought a mannequin with another outfit she made. She wore a really cute vest and skirt with contrast stitching. We can’t wait to see what she comes up with next!
And the Most wonderful Vintage outfit (not from Roulette) was a tight race, but one lady stood out among the rest.
Jane Welsh! She not only had on a great 50’s dress, but she also had a blue hat with a feather, and fishnet gloves to match her stockings! Absolutely lovely!
And we had a runner-up too good to pass up: Miranda rocked a gorgeous 60’s teal floral cocktail dress with a huge flashy cocktail ring.
Our judges, Jessica and Michelle, were great, we gave them group hugs for being so awesome! There were so many more wonderful outfits! Make sure you go to our Flickr site to check some of them out.
And thanks again to everyone for all the support! We wouldn’t have made it 3 years without y’all.
Love,
Kara and Rebecca
Sometimes, Rebecca and I have this one dress in the store – an awesome dress, but so understated that it is almost invisible. This blue dress is one of those. Its classy, cotton, blue and shows those curves you’re blessed with in just the right way.
I’m dating it in the 60’s, simple and elegant. Doris Day would have rocked this dress.
We’ve paired the dress with a white leather belt and a cute kitty purse- a perfect outfit for that Riviera shopping spree. Or you could make use of a lovely Vera scarf, gorgeous under the collar or accenting the waist.
